Benjamin Rhodenizer '18 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing football since I was in kindergarten. With each season, I've grown and developed as a person, student, and athlete. Now, as a Senior, I am a third year starting quarterback on the Varsity team. When I graduate, I want to teach high school and be a football coach.  While in college, I want to further develop my leadership skills and talent to go to a bowl game and win! 

I realize how important leadership is.  Teachers and coaches set the tone for the class or the team.  As a team captain and quarterback, my disposition is reflected on the whole team. I realize that not only do I lead by example but I can also pass along leadership roles to others, especially those who are coming behind me. 

I maintain a coachable attitude - always listening and learning.  I study game film, learning from last week and preparing for next week. I am able to bring poise, confidence, and experience in this position to your team. I have continued to grow through the past seasons.  I believe the learning on the football field permeates my daily life. How I behave and talk represents my family, the team and my coaches.  I do my best to encourage and see the best in situations. 

My academic career includes 3 years of Latin,  advanced math courses, and honors courses.
