Wesley Clements '18 Recruiting Profile

    Hello, my name is Wesley Gordon Clements and I am a rising senior at Blessed Sacrament Huguenot High School in Powhatan, Virginia for the 2017/2018 Fall Season. 

I am currently 16 years old and I have just been inducted into the National Honor Society and am also a lifetime member of the National Society of High School Scholars.  I have been successful in completing all available Honor and/or AP courses since primary school and I am currently taking all Honors and/or AP level classes available at Blessed Sacrament; in addition to which I have completed two AP courses so far, with the intent of completing three AP level classes my senior year.

I am a two sport athlete who plays both Football and Soccer, and have received First Team All-Conference as Goalkeeper for my division. I will be a captain for my Football team in the 2017/2018 Fall Season as a senior, and will play as middle linebacker and left guard; as well as long snapper.

My goal for my college career is to pursue a profession in Law and to serve as an Attorney for my career of choice. I have been invited and will be attending Stanford’s Leadership Law & CSI 10 day program this summer to continue toward achieving that goal, and previously completed a week long Law Program with George Mason University, in Virginia, in 2015.

As a potential recruit to play a college sport, I would be a great addition to any team because of my ability to play my position(s) and perform exceptionally well under pressure.  I remain focused both on the big picture and each play, and do not allow my emotions to take hold of me before, during, and/or after the game. I would be an exceptional leader for your program, as I would listen to the needs of each individual and help them understand and perform at a higher level for the overall achievement of the team.
