I am currently a (red-shirt) sophomore at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Due to personal reasons, at the end of 2015 training camp I I have decided to transfer. I am writing this letter to express my intention of transferring in Summer of 2016.
I am a 2013 graduate from Brooke Point High School in Stafford, VA. My primary positions are Wide Receiver and Free Safety but I also return kick-offs and punts. I am very versatile even from time to time ran the "Wildcat" version of our offense. I have a strong desire to continue my education and becoming a part of your great football program, which is why I would like to initiate a dialogue regarding my interest in making history as part of your athletic program and academic institution.
As a senior, I was selected by the coaches to play in the 2013 VHSCA All Star game. All Region, All Area, All District Offense, All District Defense, and Return Specialist. I had 76 receptions for 1,284 yds and 12 TD’s, 2 Punt Returns for TDs, 1 Rushing TD, 48 tackles and 6 interceptions 2 for TDs (76 and 100 yds). During the second game of the season, I had 10 receptions for 252 yards which set an area record for receiving yards in a single game. I was also voted “Player of the Week” for week two.
As a junior, I was selected ESPN HS All American (Honorable Mention), Northwest Region Division 5 "Offensive Player of the Year", 1st Team All State, 1st Team All Northwest Region, 1st Team All Region, 1st Team All Area, 1st Team All District, ALL MET (honorable mention), Player of the Week, and first ever 2011 "Lancie" Award winner as voted on by the fans. During this season, I also broke the Area's single season touchdown record of 19 set in 2005. I was one TD short of the all-time Virginia State record. With a total of 24 receiving TDs, I am currently second in Virginia State history in receiving touchdowns for a single season. My season stats were 84 receptions, 1,391 yds, 24 TDs, 9 Punt returns 209 yds 1 TD, 9 Kickoff returns, 189 yds.
I currently rank amongst the top ten receivers in Virginia High School League (VHSL) history in several categories; career receptions (195), single game receptions (16), career receiving yards (3,054), career receiving TD’s (38), and single season receiving TD’s (24).
