AJ Castro '17 Recruiting Profile

Good day Coach,

My name is AJ Castro, I am a Junior at North Stafford High School in Virginia. I am a very good student with 3.8 GPA and I am a starter on the Varsity Football Team. I play the WR/Safety/DB positions as well as punt return and long snap Center on special teams. I aspire to play College Football for any program that may offer me an opportunity to continue to develop my Football skills and abilities and allows me to compete. I believe that I have the proper skills sets and "IQ" needed to help any program that may provide me with the opportunity and works with me to sharpen my skills. I want to be part of a program that also offers me the best possible education "on" the field and "off" the field.

I have been playing Football since I was 6 yrs old, (I do not "like" Football, I LOVE Football), first with the AYF (American Youth Football Organization), Middle School, and of course now High School. I am extremely competitive and I am willing to do anything I can to help my Team. I have been fortunate to have won a AYF National Championship in Florida with my Youth Football Team (Falmouth Tide) on the JR. Midget Level and a Middle Championship at Rodney Thompson Middle School. I believe I was an instrumental part of those teams and I am confident we will have a winning Team at North Stafford High School as well. Of course, none of this would be possible without having great teammates and Coaches, I have been fortunate to have had both.

I am truly motivated to succeed in achieving my goals to get a great Education and to be an excellent Football player. I am a hard worker and I am willing to put in the work to make me a better Football player and help my program.

More importantly, I have been raised by my parents to show respect for all people, to help those who are less fortunate, and to be a productive member of society. I do not intend to let my parents down. I want to be part of a program where I can work to achieve all these goals.
