Rodney Hudson '18 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football in pads for eight years, but 11 years total. I determined that I wanted to play football at the collegiate level when I was in the eighth grade. I would like to play on collegiate level because it is a once in a lifetime opportunity and it would be a great experience.

I have a very strong work ethic because I feel every day is an opportunity to get better and become the best athlete I can be. As part of my commitment, I do weight training every morning at 6 A.M (hour before school starts), and work on foot speed, agility and route running after school. I am a very coachable athlete, and a driven leader within my team, school and community.

In the classroom, I work hard to maintain a 3.5 GPA and continuously strive to improve. I have always believed grades are important because if I don’t earn a football scholarship I will at least be able to attend college.

I would like to attend a college where I can thrive both in the classroom and on the field. Making the right choice for me is what is most important. I am open to all options but would prefer to attend a higher level college with the most competitive program and schedule. I would like to be a positive role model and make my parents extremely proud.
