After transferring to 6aaa Freedom High School I started as strong side middle linebacker in our 3-4 defense. The highlight of my high school career was earning 1st Team All Conference in first year at MLB at Freedom. However, I grew the most as a student-athlete this year with a 3.6 GPA. My senor year I am taking an AP course that I am excited about to further raise my GPA. Our your team with a new coaching staff went 3-7, that experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to re-focus my own efforts on becoming a All-State player capable of playing at the college level.
I learned the value of not being out worked and that victory is paid for in advance! I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. As a player that does not come off the field and two-time team captain, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
Many Blessings,
Kirk O. Peterson Jr. “KJ”
