Personal Statement
I have been playing football since I was ten years old. Ever since my first game, I have worked to play at the Division I collegiate level. Few high school athletes ever receive the chance to play sports, and I aspire to be one of them.
I never stop improving, even in the smallest increments I constantly strive to better myself in strength, size, agility, and speed. I love my team adn would do anything for them, which includes being a leader who will do what needs to be done even if my actions may not make me likeable. My coaches constantly comment on my work ethic, and remind me that as the old saying goes, "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard, but you've got both." I pride myself on always being the first one there and the last one out.
Academics wise I consider myself ahead of the game. Enrolling in as many AP and honor classes as my counselor will allow, I have maintained a 3.952 GPA of a 4.0 grade scale. I enjoy participating in clubs such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Key Club, Link Leader Crew, and I am working on establishing a high school Rotary Club as part of Ellensburg Morning and Afternoon Rotary Clubs.
I attend fellowship at Mercer Creek Church, part of the Christian Missionary Alliance. Bible study holds for me a place to connect with people my own age and connect with the community through community service and our church aid program.
I plan to go to college where I can make lasting connections and push myself and others to be better. Football is a huge part of my life, and I have a lot of compassion for it. Though playing college football is a passion of mine, I still plan to get a college education in Engineering and start my life.
