Zak Schueller '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6’1, 180 lb junior quarterback from Kelso, WA. Over the past four years I have broken many records at my middle school such as; Most touchdown passes thrown in one game, highest completion percentage, and Most passing touchdowns/ yardage in a single season. While spending my time at middle school I helped lead my team to two undefeated seasons. I also received the coaches’ award and offensive standout for both of those years.  In high school, I started playing quarterback for the freshman squad then earned the starting quarterback position on the Junior Varsity squad. For the remaining of the season that I played on Junior Varsity I had multiple games where I threw over 200 yards. At the end of the season I was awarded a JV award, outstanding freshman award and Kelso High academic award.  In my Junior year I have lead my team to the playoffs and am currently on pace to break all my school records for passing yards in a career, passing yards in a season and total points scored.  Currently I am 5th in overall career yards with another playoff game to go plus my senior year.

            I have maintained at the least a 3.5 GPA, by stating this I’m interested in a school that places just as much importance on academics as they do on athletics. I am looking for a program that will help me achieve my full potential, both on and of the field.
