Personal Statement
I have been playing football since i was 7 years old. Sports have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up i never had time off whether it was football in the fall, basketball in the winter, or baseball in the spring and summer, i was always busy with sports. Out of all the sports I have played as soon as I stepped onto the football field I made it a goal to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
As an athlete and as a person i hate to lose. That is why I am always working to improve my skills as well as training to get bigger, faster, stronger, and therefore be the best that i can be. I am a team leader and try to lead by example as well as be as encouraging as i can be. I strive to be one of the hardest working players on and off the field, being the first one to practice and the last one to leave. I am very coachable and i learn quickly. I pride myself on being a tough player, mentally and physically.
School work always comes before sports. I work hard in the class room and maintain a cumulative GPA of a 3.55. I am always striving to raise the bar and work to my potential in the classroom. God is a big part of my life, through god anything is possible. I attend church every Sunday as well as attend my churches mens basketball groups. Also i am in Younglife and attend many Younglife camps.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become someone people in my community can look up to and have hope, also i want to make my parents proud.
