I am a very goal focused individual. I am VERY coachable and work hard at every task given to me on and off the field. I work to perfect the task that is given and will repeat it until I am confident that I can perform. An example is the 1-2 times a week from May through August that I drove 60 miles each way to meet with a long snapping coach. I continue to work hard in perfecting my long snapping skills with my coach.
Elected as team captain is another example of why I would be an asset to any program. I believe I was selected as captain because I mentor players on and off the field. I study game tape, plays, and understand how they are executed thus helping team mates on and off the field. I am a good kid. I stay out of trouble and work hard to reach my goals. I currently have a 3.3 GPA. As a senior many kids take easy classes. I am actually enrolled in 7 classes including an early hours weight lifting class. I am taking an AP Government class as well as Psychology. I am doing everything I can to prepare myself for college.
My parents raised me to be respectful and to treat people as you want to be treated. I believe I model that behavior everyday. I believe my work ethic, positive attitude, drive to be the best, and dedication to be the best athlete I can be would be an asset to any team. Most importantly I want to be a law enforcement officer and follow a long standing tradition in my family,. I have wanted to be a law enforcement officer for as long as I can remember. I work hard to follow the rules and be a good citizen as well as a good person.
Finally this is my dream! I know I am capable to play football after high school and I know one day I am going to make a difference on a college football team!
