I am in the graduating class of 2014.  I am a 6'3" 255 lb linebacker/tight end/running back.  I have played varsity four years and have started varsity at Lynden High School for 2 years. I have played competitive football for 9 years. Our team succeeded in becoming conference champs for the 4th year. Our team won the 2013 2A State Championships this season making it the third time in three years. In 2012, I was selected All State 1st team. This year I was selected 1st team All State All Divisions LB along side Class 3A and 4A athletes by the News Tribune, Tacoma. I was named 2013 All Northwest Conference First Team offense tight end and defense linebacker. I was also named Player of the Year. I led the 2012 Lynden High School team in tackles. This season I broke the school record in solo tackles with 112. I am a team captain this year. I read the field very well and I am the main defensive play caller. I start defense at middle linebacker and also play offense at RB and TE. I am very effective at tight end both as an aggressive blocker and a receiver with great hands. I move the ball effectively as running back. I have stamina playing both sides of the ball and I am a hard worker. I also have played basketball since I was in third grade. I have competed at the recreational level as well as the very competitive AAU level. I have played varsity basketball for 4 years. This year I am the starting point guard. We won the basketball 2A State Championship in 2012 and placed 3rd in 2013. My high school has had a winning tradition going for a long time and I hope to make an impact, be an asset, and a leader to continue those wins in my collegiate days. My goal is to play football at a very competitive level. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team.

I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and field. I have a 3.5 GPA and a 1200 SAT score.  I am looking for a college where I can obtain a degree in Business. Achieving excellence in the classroom as well as on the field is my ultimate goal.
