I am currently a 6'3, 230 pound scholar athlete at A.G. West Black Hills High School in Tumwater, Washington. Kids all over say they want to play college sports, and say they want to get good grades, and that they want to recieve scholarship dollars. I am one of those kids who says those things except, I dont just say it, I live it. For as long as I can remember all I have wanted is the chance to play sports at the collegiant level. What was once a dream has now turned into more of a lifestyle and an absolute, highest goal of myself. I have spent the last few years not only conditioning my body but my mind as well for the next level. Working out, playing sports, practicing, eating right, preparing to succeed, school, my grades and G.P.A, I love it all. These things bring me the utmost of joy in my life other than my family. I have started varsity sports in baseball, basketball, and football since my freshmen year. I am currently playing football, and basketball. Football is indeed the sport I wish to play at the collegiant level. For accolades this past year in football I was named Defensive Player of the Week, in Basketball I received Defensive Player of the Year for my team, All-League Academic Award, and All-League Honorable Mention. My favorite accolade of them all you might ask? Receiving the All-League Academic Award by far. What can I offer a team? A commited student-athlete,one who will not shy away from adversity, rather embrace it. I have been told one of my strongest attributes is drive and determination to be the best I can be. I will help the team with whatever they ask of me, because ultimately it does not matter how well I succeed or play it is how successful the team functions as a unit. I will not place a limit or standard on where I would like to attend college. For me, where I can play sports and accomplish my academic goals is most important. I am willing to travel to wherever that may be, there are no restrictions. I am interested in all different types of schools. All I want is the opportunity to recieve a quality education, and in the process play football. My personal goals once I have found that place is to find myself a starting position on the team, play out my years and to graduate with a degree. I want to look back with memories of my accomplishments both personally and on the field as well.
