Personal Statement
My name is Shane Lemieux and I am a 6'6" 285 pound junior Left tackle. As a sophomore, I shared snaps as a varsity Right Tackle with a senior teammate. That was my first year playing Offensive Line after playing Tight End since I was in elementary School.Playing Varsity as a sophomore at my school was very rare. My varsity playing time as a sophomore prepared me for my Junior year where I would letter again and start as a Left Tackle, it also showed me how hard I needed to work to excel as an O-Lineman. Ever since I was a young kid I always dreamed of becoming a college football player after I attended a Washington State Cougar football game for the first time. Through football I have learned leadership, responsibility, competitiveness, teamwork, dedication, and to never give up. Another one of my dreams and goals is to graduate college with a degree. I do not really know what I want to major in but I am working on improving my grades each day. When I am not playing football or studying I love to workout. I workout everyday at my local gym with my Dad. Over the offseason this year I want to attend more camps on the west coast and maybe on the east coast. I also want to work harder in the classroom. I believe what sets me apart from other football players is my strength, size, and speed on the field. I am also very competitive in everything I do.
