Personal Statement
Being a starting Freshman in the Playoffs was a great highlight of my high school career. I was determined to improve every year after that and help other teammates do the same. The last two years as Team Captain has helped me increase my leadership abilities. My dad was the biggest influence in my life. He is the reason I am a leader and a football player that coaches on opposing teams come up and shake my hand after the game and tell me I’m a “hell of a ball player.” My drive during the games shows as I often end up living in the backfield. Football and my dad have taught me to be a leader and a team player.
My academic goals are to get a business degree and be the best I can be in EVERYTHING I do. I try to give 150% all the time and one of my unique characteristics is I am a respectful young man - on and off the field. School is not easy for me. I have a reading disability, but I work 150% percent to maintain my GPA. I have the talent, drive, character, work-ethic and leadership skills to compete at the college level and can make a positive impact on your program.
