My name is Ryan LaAsmar. I am a 6’4”, 210 pound Senior QB from Frederick, Maryland. I currently attend Notre Dame High School in Clarksburg, WV where I have received All-State honors this past year in 3 sports – football, wrestling, and lacrosse.
I enjoy the responsibility of being the quarterback and have a calm disposition and do not get flustered easily. Among my greatest strengths are leadership, arm strength, and the ability to transition from one offensive set to another on a play by play basis.
As a leader, I make sure that I am the first one on the practice field and the last one to leave. I stay after practice to help anyone that wants some extra work.
I trust that my game films will show that I have the arm strength to make every throw on the field; including the far-side out, the long ball (current long toss is 68 yards with accuracy), and the touch passes.
As I said earlier, Notre Dame runs a dynamic offense and I have been fortunate to be able to learn the full house, west coast, pro I, wing T, double wing, and the triple option offensive sets. We use them all in the course of a game. I am comfortable under center, in the pistol, or in the shotgun.
I am currently ranked #1 (all classes) QB in passing in the North Central WV area. total yardage through 4 games in 1030.
I am honored to have been selected for the Offense-Defense All American Juniors Bowl Game.and am a finalist for the USA Football National Team. This was a great opportunity to play against some of the top talent in the 2018 class nationally.
My final stats for my Junior year included 1945 yards, 18 TD’s and only 6 pics. I love football and would like to have the opportunity to play and contribute at the next level.
