Personal Statement
Ever since I first watched my brother play football, I knew one day I wanted to. I've learned through family and coaches that there is more to life than sports and that's why I have put a lot of focus into my schooling. My main goal right now is to finish high school and get a degree in something I will actually enjoy. I don't want my parents to have to fork out money for college considering they have done so much for me in the 16 years I've been around. I know you probably read a lot of the same statements going through these but please listen. My old coaches have taught me the game is about the team and the team's success. I've learned to put my team before myself and to push myself to make others better in hope they will do the same for me. I will dedicate myself to the team no matter what. A lot of people complain about practice but that's so important. My offseason training has always been good because that's what separates the good from the best. I'm an outgoing teenager I would say. Being part of the student section during sports or being out on the playing field is all fun. I've tried baseball, basketball, soccer, track and football. I can say I've enjoyed them all but football turned into a passion. My mom told me I need to dedicate myself as much in school as I do in football. I try to challenge myself both physically and mentally in order to reach success. I hope you take my profile into consideration and understand I am serious about my future. Thank you.
