Cale Hannusch '17 Recruiting Profile

    What started my love and passion for the game of football was winning a first place trophy in Punt, Pass, and Kick when I was 7. I was so excited that I actually won something and it gave me the drive to play and succeed in the game of football. Fast forward, this past season I earned a varsity starting position and stepped up as a defensive leader at linebacker.  During our only loss of the regular season, I rallied my defense to make a stand and give our offense the chance to score.  That experience taught me the value of teamwork and perseverance, to keep playing until the whistle.  Our team was conference champs that season and broke a school record by being the first team in my school's history to make it to the sectional playoff game.
