My goal is to continue to play football after I have graduated from high school and get a great education in the process. I love both sports and academics, and to have the combination of both would really make my dreams come true.
I did well in Youth Football (5th-8th grade) and was ultimately selected to play for Team Wisconsin in 8th grade. We played in several National Tournaments in 2012 after our youth season was over. I was outside line backer and fullback on this team. These tournaments included The Midwest National Championship (Ohio) and The Tyler Genneken Memorial Tournament (Indiana). We won both tournaments. It was great to be coached by Ted Lange and George Poorman. Both are credible coaches that I learned a lot from and really had fun in the process.
I had a very successful sophomore season on Varsity. I played outside linebacker, back up fullback and was on all special teams. I am very proud of my season because I worked very hard to get into the starting position as a sophomore. I have been attending football camps since 7th grade. Also, I have had a full time trainer since 7th grade that has been documenting my progress from 7th grade until this very day.
I have had high grades since 1st grade and graduated high honors from elementary school. I currently maintain a 3.73 GPA while being a 2 sport athlete. I have been taking advanced classes throughout high school and have been on the honor roll every semester thus far in high school. When I do get into college I will maintain this GPA. I am in the National Honor Society and went to the Badger Boys State Leadership Program.
I have been told over the years in all the sports that I play that I am "very coachable" which makes my parents and I very happy. I have been a team captain in many of the sports that I have played over the years. I currently play Football, and Rugby. Last year, I played Football, Basketball, Baseball and Rugby.
I think that I am very good communicator not only with my coaches and my teammates but also outside of sports too. I can hold a conversation with adults and will be very active in the recruiting process along with my parents.
