Personal Statement

My name is Cameron "Cam" John Batty. I currently attend Green Bay Preble High School and participate in my school's football program playing both long snapper and defensive end. Like most high school athletes, I want to go on and play college football. My drive, work ethic, character, and willingness to learn and get better in any way possible is what I believe will guide me to play college football. I'm the guy who's going to stay late and watch film looking at my mistakes and what I need to do to get better. I am constantly asking my coaches questions on how I can improve and I always allow myself to be coached. My motor is always running at 100 mph. I'm the guy who is going to do whatever it takes to win games and championships at any cost. My education is of course my first priority. I picture myself one day working as either an intern for Nike Inc., or becoming a sports psychologist. I'm not a quitter, I'm not a whiner, and I'm not a sore loser. I AM A WINNER, PERIOD.

Training

  • Strength and Conditioning
  • 4 years
  • All of the strength coaches I have worked out with have had nothing but positive things to say about me. The biggest thing they were impressed with was my squatting ability and how fast I moved for my size.
  • One-on-One Training with Green Bay Packers OLB's coach Kevin Greene
  • 1 year
  • Worked with Coach Greene during the off-season with him and his son. He invited me to work with him due to the fact that he said I had great size and strength to be a linebacker even though I played defensive line. He taught me very valuable moves to use on the football field and also lessons on life and how to approach it.

By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
