Hi my name is Jake Rueth. I have played football since 3rd grade starting with Pop Warner and continuing through 8th grade. I then moved on to the JV team. On the JV team I was the captian; I always encouraged my teammates never bringing them down.As a Freshman I also played a lot of time on Varsity. I started on special teams and was the back up for anyone that got hurt or needed a break; playing multiple positions. I suited up twice a week always ready to play. During my football season I weighed 165 pounds and was 5'8''. I lift weights everyday, work on my speed and agility and help on the dairy farm. I am also, a wrestler. My accomplishments in my wrestling career include: qualifying for Youth State twice; placing 4th my 8th grade year. I am a two time Junior High confrence champion. I have participated in a few wrestling tournaments in freestyle and grecco. In my Freshman year I made Varsity ending the season with a 24-8 record. I was the conference champ at 145 lbs, placed 2nd at regionals and 4th at sectionals. I am a team player and was fortunate enough to be on a very dedicated 1st year co-op wrestling team that placed 2nd in sectionals. I am thankful for all my accomplishments and believe in giving back. I have volunteered my time by helping at practices for the American Youth Football Program, Youth Wrestling Programs, helping my elderly neighbor and serving at church mass. My goals are to qualify & place at state for Football & Wrestling the rest of my highschool career.
