I am a 5'10 175 lb running back/ linebacker at Luck High School in Luck, Wisconsin. I come from a small school and team so through the years I have played numerous defensive positions as well. Being on a small team, it has pushed me to be in the best possible shape and to become a role model for the younger players. Through my high school career to help me prepare each year for football, I join our track team and participate in the long jump, 4X4 relay, 4X2 relay, 4X1 relay, and the 100 meter dash.
Not just on the field do I have to be a role model for the younger. Being the eldest of 15 grandkids has always pushed in my personal life to set the stepping stones for the younger. I continue to work hard academically and always put 100% into what I do as I know they all look up to me and I want to be sure I am setting the best example possible. In the summer months I work with my grandparents in their septic business or with my uncle doing landscaping. I am always there to give a helping hand when one is in need. Being of a large family has taught me family is always there. When I am on the football field with my team players, I treat them as my family.
Playing college football has been a dream of mine for quite some time and I have pushed myself to new levels in practice and in games so that my dream can come true. Failure makes me want to succeed more and I use failure as a learning tool. As Bear Bryant said, " It's not the will to win, but the will to prepare to win that makes the difference" and that is something that I stand by, because you can't just go out there and expect to win, you have to prepare and shed sweat and tears to make that win possible. As I go into the off season my goals are to gain mass, speed, and strength.
When I get an opportunity I take it and make the most of it, which is why I want to go to a school that if I work hard I will get the opportunity to succeed whether it is on the field or in the classroom. I am open to different types of schools, but would like to go to a school that pushes me to succeed, and help me to work towards majoring in Business Management. I will look through every option that is given to me and take them all into consideration when I make my decision.
