My name is Cameron Hetland and I attend William Horlick High School in Racine, Wisconsin. I have always loved the game of football and it is my all-time dream and aspiration to be able to play at the collegiate level. I feel that I possess leadership qualities in the way of leading by example. I have never been the rowdy, pumped-up, crazy football player that you may see a lot, but I allow my team to succeed by staying to myself and doing my job and trusting that the ten other players on the field will also do theirs.
Academically, I have enrolled in Advanced Placement courses and College-Prep courses throughout high school and have excelled in them tremendously. This year alone I have accumulated a weighted GPA of 4.26. I am also a member of National Honor Society and conduct community service for this organization. I will always strive to be the best that I can be in all aspects in life, including college football. If given the opportunity, I will not take anything for granted, I will work harder than anyone on the team, and I will push my teammates to be the best that they can be as well.
In conclusion, being a good person is what has propelled me through my life with a positive and open attitude towards anything and everything and anyone. Also, my dedication to the sport and work ethic that is bar none is what I believe will make me a likely candidate for any college considering recruiting an outside linebacker for the 2015-2016 football season.
