My name is Connor O'Brien and I am 5' 11" 175 pounds in the class of 2018. I am a three sport all-conference athlete and high honor roll student. Athletics and academics have always been important priorities of mine. Combining the two have taught me how to be responsible, hard working, and how to manage my time. I have also gained leadership skills through sports, being a quarterback my freshman and sophomore year of football and being named a captain of the basketball team as a junior.
I am very knowledgeable and adaptable when it comes to the game of football. Playing wide receiver, quarterback, and being a defensive back all in my junior year I have learned to adapt, learn quickly, and to communicate with my coaches well. I have been able to learn many aspects of the game through playing many positions. Playing both ways has allowed me to know what my opponent is going to do and what they are thinking before a play happens. Whether, it's reading zone coverages and where pockets will be, or knowing a blocking scheme inside and on the perimeter, I am very aware of what will need to happen in order to be successful.
I want to attend a college that meets my interests and area of study. I plan to study in the field of business and am focusing on marketing. I am open to both private and public colleges and colleges of various sizes. I am excited to extend my football and academic career in the future!
