Personal Statement
My biggest goal as an athlete has been to play at the college level. I do not know if this goal was brought on by the intense morning team workouts everyday through the summer, working my butt off at Synergy Sports Performance, or just getting out on the turf with my team to compete for a win every Friday, but with each second of hard work and sweat, I can feel that this is the right path for me.
Whether it is in the classroom or the weight room, I am a hard worker and will do anything to succeed. I believe that my willingness/ability to push myself and others to be better, in addition to my love for being part of the team, will help me all throughout my life as an athlete, student, and coworker. Since the beginning of my football career, I have played every position on the offensive and defensive line, and I am hoping for the chance to learn more so I can better myself and help out my team. In addition to football, I want to go to college to study chemical/material sciences and engineering. I have been interested in science and engineering as long as I can remember and know I will succeed in any classes or future careers that this path takes me. I want to pursue the material/chemical engineering and science courses to make a career for myself in designing new materials for building cars, airplanes, boats, and all other kinds of vehicles. By creating new materials for vehicles I would hope to reduce cost for production and reduce pollution to make our world better.
I believe that I will succeed in college in both football and academics, and I know the I am ready to make the next step. Football is my passion, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to get myself to the next level and compete as a college athlete.
