Personal Statement
Growing up with a family surrounded by sports, I always learned the characteristics needed to become successful in anything I choose to do. It was instilled in me to work hard not only in athletics, but most importantly in the classroom. I have achieved high honors since 6th grade and have continued that through high school. I am currently a NHS member, so I know what it takes to be successful in class. I have been a four sport athlete since freshman year, my commitment will never be questioned in any activity I chose to do. I would bring a hardworking, determined, coachable individual to your program and would always give my best effort in anything I was asked to do.
I have been given great opportunities and advice from my parents who do so much for me and have taught me everything I know about becoming a responsible, and persistent individual. My dad has been coaching me since I have been an elementary schooler and has shown me the right way to accomplish my goals no matter what those goals may be. My mother being a college professor has aided in me knowing what it takes to be a lucrative open minded person. As the future draws nearer those characteristics will continue to show through in my personality and pushed on to fellow team members a peers.
My dream has been to play college athletics and I plan to fulfill that goal with leadership of my teammates, classmates, and peers, as well as responsibility inside and out of the classroom, and hard work every single day. Doing the little things right is what it takes to be a champion and I will bring that competitive articulate student athlete to any collegiate association. "Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard", personally my favorite quote demonstrates my willpower to obtain the highest achievements for myself and know I will give 100% every single time.
