Joseph Canterbury '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joseph S. Canterbury. I am 5'10 and 200 pounds. I play running back at Mingo Central High School. I run a 4.55 40 yard dash and I am very strong. I bench press 305 pounds and I squat 525 pounds. It's been my dream since I was in Midjet League Football to get into college. My desired major is in the medical field or management. I want to have my bachelor's degree in nursing. I have always worked hard on and off the field. I'm a team captain. I lift weights and train Monday's through Saturday's and sometimes on Sunday's , when everyone else only does it three times a week. I am the first to show up and the last to leave for everything. I am willing to do anything to get to the next level. I have started every year I have ever played. If you pass me up on your recruiting list, you're missing out on everything you could ever want in a player. Freshman year in high school I made Second Team All-State. My Sophomore year I made the All-Area team. I also won the best running back award both of those years. My number one goal is to start football in college as a sophomore. I am a very dedicated player. My family and me will be in need for financial aid. I would like to go to any college who is interested in me. I just want to play. Football is all I have ever had.
