Tim has enjoyed a great deal of success at every level of basketball he has competed. Beginning with his high school career at St. Dominic on Long Island, Tim was named player of the Year in New York and also elected to the illustrious McDonalds All-American team. These high school accolades paved the way for Tim's collegiate career which was spent at the University of Notre Dame where he played under legendary coach Digger Phelps.
Receiving a great deal of recognition as a four year starter at Notre Dame, Tim was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 1986 NBA Draft. His eight year NBA career was highlighted by an appearance playing against Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls in the 1993 NBA Finals as a member the Phoenix Suns. In addition to his NBA experience, Tim also played professionally for eight years in Europe with elite teams in Europe, Italy, Spain, and France. Finding basketball difficult to leave behind after his playing days, Tim has discovered a career in the broadcasting booth as a radio analyst for the Phoenix Suns for the last six years. Tim hopes to share his appreciation for the opportunities that basketball has created for him with aspiring student-athletes all over the country.
