Recruiting Simplified Feedback

The NCSA presentation by Bob Chmiel was an extremely useful presentation for our athletes, coaches and parents. Bob was able to present an approach to recruiting that helped determine the difference between perception and reality. We look forward to further supporting our athletes in various sports in order for them to participate at the next level with the help of NCSA.

John Young - Athletic Director - Lemont High School, IL

In all my years of coaching, Bob Chmiel is still among the most informative, straight forward and personable recruiting experts I have ever dealt with. He is someone to be admired and trusted by parents and student-athletes alike.

Frank Lenti - Athletic Director - Mt Carmel High School, Illinois

Bob Chmiel's message to our student athletes was clear, simple and resonated: Get involved. Do the work in the classroom. Work hard at athletics.

Bob Carskie - Athletic Director - Boulder High School

Coach Chmiel stole the show during the welcome orientation at the US Army National Combine.

The student athletes, parents and coaches of Lowell High School were very pleased with the presentation that Charlie Adams provided on Thursday February 26th. The program raised the bar in encouraging parents and athletes to get involved in the recruiting process. Charlie was kind enough to meet with our coaches one hour before the student athletes and parents. Our coaches came away with a clearer understanding of their role in the recruiting process. Many were so pleased with the program that they did take time to pass me and say, "That was a very informative program; it will be a great program for athletes and their parents to witness." I really do not see as many thank you's after a program from athletes and parents, but on this evening there were many who expressed their gratitude for Charlie's delivery, information, and how it was presented

Don Bales - Athletic Director - Lowell High School

Cecil Martin represented a larger than life example of the college recruiting process. His genuine and charismatic demeanor combined with accurate and “straight” talk enthralled the audience. Cecil gave a personal account of his recruiting process in High School as well as his successes with the University of Wisconsin. In addition, Cecil’s ability to be openly humbled by his NFL success made the discussion tangible for the parents and athletes. Parsippany High School felt indebted to Cecil Martin for the time he spent with us and we are proud to be a part of his tour.

Ryan D. Miller - Assistant Principal/Athletic Director - Parsippany High School, NJ

The recruiting seminar was outstanding.Tony Collins was the true professional. He talked honestly to the kids and their parents. I would really love to try and have another one in the springtime with Tony coming back to our campus. Thanks again for choosing Zachary High School.

Joey Sanchez - Zachary Community Schools Athletic Director

Having watched Charlie Adams as a sports anchor while growing up in northern Indiana, I always thought he was very passionate about sports and very engaging as a speaker. He certainly did not disappoint at Noblesville High School. He truly cares about the well-being of each and every student-athlete that he interacts with and wants to help provide them with the best future possible.

Charlie is a wonderful fit for the mission of NCSA and we would certainly welcome him back in the future to speak to our student-athletes and their parents.

Robb Vessely - Boys Athletic Director - Noblesville High School, IN

Charlie Adams is an outstanding speaker and he connects with the student athletes immediately with his presentation. The information that he provides in the College Recruiting Simplified seminar is outstanding and it helps our athletes get a jump start on understanding the recruiting process and what is available to them if they are motivated.

Greg Younger - Athletic Director - Dowagiac Schools, Michigan

Joe Burns is one of the best speakers on the recruiting process for high school athletes wanting to play on the college level. He is straight forth with the demands it takes to get into college. He covered all areas that prospective athletes need to hear as well as their parents. He also told the parents that the coach can't guarantee a player a scholarship, something I think all parents need to know. I would recommend Joe to come and speak to any prospective athletes that will listen and take his advice. They will be glad they did.

David Johnson - Head Football Coach - Lee County High School, Georgia

Je’Mone Smith’s presentation was an eye opening experience for a lot of parents. He covered the “in and outs” of the entire recruiting process. I will make sure he comes back yearly to keep our parents as well as our student-athletes up to date with recruiting procedures.

Claude Mathis - Head Football Coach & Athletic Coordinator -DeSoto Independent

Coral Reef Senior High was privileged to be able to have NCSA presenter Mr. Rich Hofman come put on a College Recruiting Simplified seminar for our parents and athletes. The seminar was extremely beneficial in emphasizing the importance of academics beginning in the freshman year. Rich’s presentation broke down the process into a step by step approach, focusing on what the student and parents can do to get on the right path. No matter what level of college athletics your son or daughter wants to play in this seminar has valuable information that everyone can benefit from. Our school will be making College Recruiting Simplified a yearly event.

Deb Margolis - Director of Athletics - Coral Reef Senior High School, Florida

We hosted a college recruiting event in conjunction with the NCSA. The information was relevant to what our athletes are dealing with everyday. Our girls and their parents walked away from that evening with a plan of action designed to get them noticed and set them apart in the minds of college coaches

Mike Haymond - California Futbol Club

The response that I received from the parents regarding this seminar was very positive. In fact, more than half of them shook my hand as they were leaving and thanked me for holding it. Dave Carl presents in an animated fashion, and using concrete examples to support his message. He provides parents and athletes with information to journey into the collegiate process whether they use NCSA’s service or not. I know that I gained valuable information that I can now share with student-athletes.

Charlie LaHam - Athletic Director - Rhinelander High School, Wisconsin

Coach Bob Chmiel brings his authoritative level of experience and expertise to unravel the mystery of college recruiting to parents, student-athletes and coaches alike. His honest and realistic step by step approach touches all points for families and student-athletes to find the proper college fit.

Len Jankiewicz - Athletic Director - Lancaster High School, New York

Charlie Adams’ presentation was extremely informative and right on target. Charlie is naturally entertaining and his true life experience with high school students helps him connect with his audience. The whole presentation informs with solid information. I highly recommend Charlie as a speaker for the National Collegiate Scouting Association. NCSA is the only Scouting Service that I recommend to my students and families.

Kirby Whitacre - Director of Athletics - South Bend Community School Corporation, IN

Joe Burns came to our school to speak at our Fall Sports Banquet and he did an excellent job! He gave the students a lot of pointers on the "do's" and "don'ts" of trying to get recruited by colleges. He shared his own personal life experience which helped students better relate to his message. It is very beneficial for students and parents to hear from Pro- and/or former Pro-athletes because they look up to them as role models. I would definitely love to have Joe come speak at all our athletic banquets. It was a great experience for our students, faculty/staff, and parents.

Dr. Sonji Leach - Assistant Principal/Athletic Director - Portal Middle High School, GA

While working with high school student-athletes it has become very evident that most athletes and their families don’t have the slightest clue about how to begin preparing for the recruiting process. Over the years, I have worked with multiple athletes and their families that think that success is only determined by a Division I scholarship. They also think that an athlete will only be “discovered” in the process of high school athletic events or summer camps. The information that Bob Chmiel shared is important for parents and athletes to understand in order to take action in the recruiting process. Bob’s ability to present information regarding college recruiting is impressive because of the life experiences that he can bring to the table.

Following the presentation, I received emails and phone calls from parents and guidance counselors in our community that learned so much from listening to his suggestions about preparing for college recruiting. I appreciate the NCSA for providing an opportunity for Coach Chmiel to visit with us at Owensboro High School and I hope we can bring him back in the future!

Jane Prince - Senior Guidance Counselor - Ownesboro High School, Kentucky

Charlie Adams did a great job in presenting the topic of College Recruiting Simplified to our athletes and parents. Comments about the presentation were very positive about the information, the presentation and the question/answer session. The presentation was insightful about the recruiting process.

Mike Sipe - Athletic Director - Perry Meridian High School, IN

Charlie Adams gave a very informative, educational program on the ins and outs of looking at playing at the next level. Any individual would find the program and presentation informative. Charlie empowers the parent and athlete to take control of their future. I really appreciated his approach.

Mary Hurley - Athletic Director - Wawasee High School, Indiana

NCSA’s presentations, like Bob Chmiel's to Bishop Ireton, give student-athletes and families the right information and perspective with the credibility we couldn't get elsewhere. Bob recruited Division I athletes as a coach and went through the recruiting process as a parent. College Recruiting Simplified gives you the "rest of the story" beyond just the rules and regulations. Our parents gave it a "5-star" review after the presentation.

William Simmons - Director of Athletics - Bishop Ireton High School, Virginia

Former Ga Tech and Buffalo Bills Running back Joe Burns recently presented a College Recruiting Simplified seminar for our kids at White County (GA) High School. Joe's knowledge of what it takes to get to the next level was expertly delivered. His sharing of his personal experiences regarding the recruiting process held our kids attention from start to finish.

Tommy Flowers - Football Coach - White County High School, Georgia

I thought the information presented by Charlie Adams at Warsaw Community High School was very beneficial and, more importantly, realistic. He gave excellent examples of what high school students should be doing and what they should be working on as they prepare for college.

Joe Santa - Athletic Director - Warsaw Community High School, Indiana

Having an experienced, devoted and dedicated person like Joe Burns talk to all my student-athletes at Spencer High School really opened their eyes to see what is truly necessary to prepare them for the next level. They really began to see the big picture. Sharing his personal experience helped them realize that they can be as successful as he is through consistent good work habits and work ethics. Joe explained to them that character and obedience are very important parts to being successful. It was a very educational experience for the students and parents that attended. Congratulations on making a difference in some students here at Spencer High School.

Oliver Davis - Athletic Director - Spencer High School, Georgia

Randy Taylor articulates the nuances of the college recruiting process as well as anyone in the business. His presentation provided my players and their parents with valuable information that will undoubtedly assist them with the recruiting process. I look forward the working with Randy and NCSA for many years to come.
