I have always enjoyed the competitiveness found in athletics, both at the high school & college level. Iâve watched and participated in my childrenâsâ sports activities, and have always encouraged them to be the best at what they do. In concert with athletics, I value the life changing opportunities that can be achieved with the same excellence in the pursuit of continued education. All four of my children hold college degrees and they in turn are encouraging their children to become better through learning. There is no finer experience than watching the young people develop and excel in both the athletic and education arenas.
I am excited being a Scout at NCSA because my rewards will come from helping athletes achieve an education of their choice by applying and developing their skills in sports. It is the ultimate win/win/win situation for the athlete, their family and the scout. What a marvelous way to spend my daily life.
