The NCSA presentation by Bob Chmiel was an extremely useful presentation for our athletes, coaches and parents. Bob was able to present an approach to recruiting that helped determine the difference between perception and reality. We look forward to further supporting our athletes in various sports in order for them to participate at the next level with the help of NCSA.

In all my years of coaching, Bob Chmiel is still among the most informative, straight forward and personable recruiting experts I have ever dealt with. He is someone to be admired and trusted by parents and student-athletes alike.

Cecil Martin represented a larger than life example of the college recruiting process. His genuine and charismatic demeanor combined with accurate and “straight” talk enthralled the audience. Cecil gave a personal account of his recruiting process in High School as well as his successes with the University of Wisconsin. In addition, Cecil’s ability to be openly humbled by his NFL success made the discussion tangible for the parents and athletes. Parsippany High School felt indebted to Cecil Martin for the time he spent with us and we are proud to be a part of his tour.

The recruiting seminar was outstanding.Tony Collins was the true professional. He talked honestly to the kids and their parents. I would really love to try and have another one in the springtime with Tony coming back to our campus. Thanks again for choosing Zachary High School.

Charlie Adams is an outstanding speaker and he connects with the student athletes immediately with his presentation. The information that he provides in the College Recruiting Simplified seminar is outstanding and it helps our athletes get a jump start on understanding the recruiting process and what is available to them if they are motivated.

Joe Burns is one of the best speakers on the recruiting process for high school athletes wanting to play on the college level. He is straight forth with the demands it takes to get into college. He covered all areas that prospective athletes need to hear as well as their parents. He also told the parents that the coach can't guarantee a player a scholarship, something I think all parents need to know. I would recommend Joe to come and speak to any prospective athletes that will listen and take his advice. They will be glad they did.

Coral Reef Senior High was privileged to be able to have NCSA presenter Mr. Rich Hofman come put on a College Recruiting Simplified seminar for our parents and athletes. The seminar was extremely beneficial in emphasizing the importance of academics beginning in the freshman year. Rich’s presentation broke down the process into a step by step approach, focusing on what the student and parents can do to get on the right path. No matter what level of college athletics your son or daughter wants to play in this seminar has valuable information that everyone can benefit from. Our school will be making College Recruiting Simplified a yearly event.

The response that I received from the parents regarding this seminar was very positive. In fact, more than half of them shook my hand as they were leaving and thanked me for holding it. Dave Carl presents in an animated fashion, and using concrete examples to support his message. He provides parents and athletes with information to journey into the collegiate process whether they use NCSA’s service or not. I know that I gained valuable information that I can now share with student-athletes.

Charlie Adams’ presentation was extremely informative and right on target. Charlie is naturally entertaining and his true life experience with high school students helps him connect with his audience. The whole presentation informs with solid information. I highly recommend Charlie as a speaker for the National Collegiate Scouting Association. NCSA is the only Scouting Service that I recommend to my students and families.

Joe Burns came to our school to speak at our Fall Sports Banquet and he did an excellent job! He gave the students a lot of pointers on the "do's" and "don'ts" of trying to get recruited by colleges. He shared his own personal life experience which helped students better relate to his message. It is very beneficial for students and parents to hear from Pro- and/or former Pro-athletes because they look up to them as role models. I would definitely love to have Joe come speak at all our athletic banquets. It was a great experience for our students, faculty/staff, and parents.

While working with high school student-athletes it has become very evident that most athletes and their families don’t have the slightest clue about how to begin preparing for the recruiting process. Over the years, I have worked with multiple athletes and their families that think that success is only determined by a Division I scholarship. They also think that an athlete will only be “discovered” in the process of high school athletic events or summer camps. The information that Bob Chmiel shared is important for parents and athletes to understand in order to take action in the recruiting process. Bob’s ability to present information regarding college recruiting is impressive because of the life experiences that he can bring to the table.
Following the presentation, I received emails and phone calls from parents and guidance counselors in our community that learned so much from listening to his suggestions about preparing for college recruiting. I appreciate the NCSA for providing an opportunity for Coach Chmiel to visit with us at Owensboro High School and I hope we can bring him back in the future!

Charlie Adams gave a very informative, educational program on the ins and outs of looking at playing at the next level. Any individual would find the program and presentation informative. Charlie empowers the parent and athlete to take control of their future. I really appreciated his approach.

NCSA’s presentations, like Bob Chmiel's to Bishop Ireton, give student-athletes and families the right information and perspective with the credibility we couldn't get elsewhere. Bob recruited Division I athletes as a coach and went through the recruiting process as a parent. College Recruiting Simplified gives you the "rest of the story" beyond just the rules and regulations. Our parents gave it a "5-star" review after the presentation.

I thought the information presented by Charlie Adams at Warsaw Community High School was very beneficial and, more importantly, realistic. He gave excellent examples of what high school students should be doing and what they should be working on as they prepare for college.

Having an experienced, devoted and dedicated person like Joe Burns talk to all my student-athletes at Spencer High School really opened their eyes to see what is truly necessary to prepare them for the next level. They really began to see the big picture. Sharing his personal experience helped them realize that they can be as successful as he is through consistent good work habits and work ethics. Joe explained to them that character and obedience are very important parts to being successful. It was a very educational experience for the students and parents that attended. Congratulations on making a difference in some students here at Spencer High School.
