Recent commit Erin McCarver has been selected as our NCSA March Impact Athlete of the Month. He has chosen to play at Harding University and will be making an impact there in the fall of 2009. Erin had a strong 2008 summer season with the Dallas Mustangs hitting .340 with five home runs and throwing out 11 runners. He hit his recruiting hard in the fall and decided on Harding University this winter. His speed for a catcher is great, being timed at a 6.7 in the 60 and 10.69 in 100 yard dash.
Academically, Erin is finishing at Hebron High School this year and has maintained a 3.5 GPA there. He has been a Miracle League volunteer and is looking to study health sciences, kinesiology, or physical therapy at Harding. We congratulate Erin as our Baseball Impact Athlete of the Month.
