Kathleen Lyon is thrilled about the potential opportunity to continue her swimming career at the collegiate level. The 5'9" junior from King George, VA, just completed her high school season.
Kathleen exclaims, "I have received letters and emails from various colleges and I am looking at a lot of them. It's exciting!"
Kathleen's recruiting profile exhibits a high standard in the classroom, as well as in the pool. She is an A honor roll student, boasting a 3.25 GPA. Athletically, Kathleen is a three-time state qualifier and a three-time district champion in the 500 free. This past winter she finished fourth in 100 Fly at the state meet.
NCSA and Kathleen have built a great rapport and will work together in the year to come to find her the best college fit.
"I'm extremely pleased with the colleges which have been contacting me,” says Kathleen. “There are so many, that I don't know which one to choose when I am a senior. But knowing that I have so many to choose from is amazing!"
