When I first started with NCSA I did not know which way to go. I did not know all the work that I would have to do.
My advice to new recruits is to know that you are not the only athlete out there and that everyday you are competing with someone else. Do not procrastinate. After committing to NCSA I had to gather my videos and pick my top plays to make a highlight video. This was hard but NCSA helped me make a great final draft. I then proceeded to contact the schools that viewed my video. Months later, I made it to my first try-out. This was fun and exhausting at the same time.
Do what you need to do on time because you are always competing against someone else for your spot. NCSA is there to help but they are not there to do all of the work for you. Stay encouraged. You never know who might need an extra player on their team. Be sure to stay focused on your goals and never give up. Most importantly, make sure you make the right decision for yourself.
