Kalyn Johnson – Anderson University
First and foremost I wouldn’t be here at Anderson University without my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, family, friends and NCSA.
I worked very hard my senior year. I was struggling through a swing change the entire year and had to put in a lot of work. It was one of the most frustrating and difficult times in my life. The most challenging part of the recruiting process was trying to figure out where would be the best fit for me.
The best part of the recruiting process was the realization that I was going to fulfill one of my dreams in life; playing golf at the collegiate level.
NCSA helped me tremendously. I would not have known where to start with the recruiting process. Their resources hepled me research colleges. The video of my swing was another great tool in the recruiting process.
I would advise any student athlete going through this process to not give up and trust the process. Sometimes it will feel like you won't end up going anywhere, but trust me keep going!
It is a lot of fun being a college athlete. Traveling with the team is a blast. It is everything I thought it would and more.
