I practiced golf everyday after school and weekends to be a better golfer. This is essential to do this if you are trying to get a scholarship. Throughout the process it was essential to make sure I stayed in contact with NCSA sports and keeping my resume updated.
NCSA had everything to do with my recruiting process. They put my name out to colleges that would have never known who I was and my capabilities. My advice to student athletes would be to get in touch with NCSA as soon as possible.
There is nothing like being a college athlete. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to get a college education while doing something you love so much, such as golf, in my case.
