Jayce Willingham '18 Recruiting Profile

I have played basketball most of my life and have always loved it. I can honestly say that there is no other place I would rather be than on a basketball court. My dream is to play basketball at the college level just as my father and older sister both did. It is my ambition to play basketball at the highest of levels. It has been a dream of mine to play in big games and big moments and I aspire to make that dream become a reality. As a basketball player, I am dynamic and very versatile. At my height, I have the ability to break defenses down off the dribble as well as facilitate. In addition, I am a very capable knock-down shooter. Defensively, I can guard multiple positions because of my length and athletic ability. I understand the importance of having a work ethic and understand that in order to play at a high level, one must be willing to put in those hours. Academically, I am well rounded and have just been inducted to the National Honors Society and carry a 3.8 GPA. Staying eligible because of grades will be something that a future coach will not have to worry about.
