Going into my sophomore club basketball season and soon to be junior high school basketball season I am nervous. I am nervous and worried about my future. I have just a little bit over two years to decide where I am hoping and wanting to go to for college. Many coaches go through so many players in the recruiting process it's a amazing. being raised by a single parent its a blessing to know I have to work harder to reach my limits, basketball is a passion for me. I am wanting to play at the collegiate level to feel the experience and I say that I actually made it. My mom pushes me everyday to do better and put the extra 5% in, I work hard on and off the court. I put my academics first however I will work just as hard on the court just as I do in the classroom. A scholarship is the goal of every athlete and the difference between me and the next "baller" is the willingness I have to reach my goal. How far I am willing to go to reach the next level. The strive to be there and do my job. So me, a small town basketball player, looks forward to a challenge. Its what keeps the fire in my belly too keep me going. In the end thank you for reading my memo, means the world to my mom and I.
