Hello Coaches and thank you for taking time to learn about me.
I am an all around scholar athlete. As a true class of 2027 student, I work diligently both on the court and in the classroom. Currently, I am enrolled in a vigorous education program and take honor's level classes (Biology and Language Arts) at Skyline High School in Mesa, Arizona.
On the basketball court I am a coach's dream and an opponent's nightmare. I am an easily coachable point guard with a nice behind the arc three point shot, a free throw perfectionist and a strong basketball IQ. I am a floor general with excellent court vision and awareness who can score but also find my teammates to set up big plays. I am a fundamentally sound competitor who believes in defense because I know that defense wins championships. In 2022, I was named The Phoenix Rising Ivory House Full Court Tournament MVP for leading my team to the state championship which was held in Tucson Arizona.
My collegiate goals are to maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average and ultimately graduate with honor's. Athletically, my goals in college are to be the number one free throw shooter in the nation, average a triple double each game, inspire my teammates to be the best players that they can be and to help my university win a title. What makes me stand out from other recruits is several things, one of them being the fact that I am mentally tough and have a short term memory when I make mistakes on the floor. Instead of focusing on the error, I focus on getting to the next play to help put my coaches and my team in the best position to win. Also, I am not afraid to sacrifice my body for the game when needed. I don't mind playing physical and drawing contact to get to the free-throw line. On my feet I am very quick and agile. I can read defenses and adjust easily in transition. When on a basketball team I am typically the best shooter on the floor. I have a high shooting percentage and my preferred shots on the court are from behind the three point line and mid range inside of the paint. Academically, I am able to balance a demanding sports schedule with my school responsibilities. My top four priorities in life are God, Family, Education and Basketball. One final interesting fact is that there was once a basketball documentary titled "In With a Whisper" created about me. The documentary highlighted some of the challenges that I have overcome in life as well as my love for the game. I have included a link to it below. Please watch it to learn more about my desire to play at a high level.
