My name is Christian and I've been playing basketball since I was six. I enjoy the game so much that I even coached a 10u team two years in a row.
Competing at the collegiate level is something I have been working hard toward in recent years. I played significant time on the varsity team when I was a freshman, and started as a sophomore. Point guard is my main position. As a point guard I have learned how to run a team, find mismatches, and encourage my teammates toward peak performance. Some of my skills include, quick ball handling, making the right passes, and excellent court vision. Offensively I have a variety of finishes including floaters, finger rolls, and threes. My high school team plays primarily zone and my AAU team plays full-court-man. Playing both man-to-man and zone defenses have helped me develop skills in multiple situations. Currently, I'm working on my mid-range game.
My parents, coaches, and teachers, have taught me that academics are just as important as basketball. I know that you must put the same amount of time and effort into academics as you do on the court. I'm ready for the next chapter of my life, turning the page to become a college athlete, competing at the highest level, as well as finishing a quality bachelor degree.
