Personal Statement

I've been playing basketball over 10 years, I believe in teamwork and I have a great understanding for the game of basketball. I moved to Lompoc CA. in 2007, played basketball at the Boys and Girls Club and on the all-star teams. My father started a travel team called the Lompoc Hoopsters we were very successful up and down the coast, we even won two back to back March Madness Tournaments in Santa Barbara. I have strong ball handling skills, great basketball work ethics, very good shooting touch, and I am a coach able player. My school work is very important, I maintained a 3.5 GPA and by the time I get out of school my goal is to have a 4.0 GPA. I believe in teamwork and have the drive to help my team mates be successful. One of my dream is to become a professional basketball player if not, major in sports medicine and or coach a College Basketball Team.

As a freshman and sophomore I started on varsity as a point guard and I've played on 5 differnt travel team . Also very blessed and thankful that my coach for the Central Coast Warriors post a video on You tube (Torey Sims #2 For The Central Coast Warriors).

My first two years in high school I was honored to receive, 2 All Area Los Padres League First Team award, and this year I was also awarded the Southern California Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association ALL SOUTHERN SECTION 2nd TEAM.

For the past 7 years living in california,I played Quarterback in the Lompoc Youth Football League (won two Super Bowls in youth football league), and Point Guard in Basketball in 2008 I had the honor to attend Michael Jordan Flight School and I made his All-Star Team, that was an experience that I will never forget. At that time I know that Basketball is what I want to do.

I'm now playing in a mans basketball league at the boys and girls club, and I'm having fun and the older player are putting me to the test..

However, I would like to attend a college/university that will challenge me both in the class room and on the basketball court, and also make me a better person..

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
