My goal is to play college basketball at an elite institution, particularly the Ivy league and earn a degree in either mathematics or architecture. That being said, I would like to find a college that not only has a great basketball program, but a great history of academics which will allow me to fulfill my goals and aspirations as a person. In addition to the academics, it's also important that the college or university I select have a great history of diversity and cultural environment. The school that can best offer these elements...academics, diversity and culture will go a long way in influencing any decision I make.
Playing basketball at the next level is a dream I've had since grade school and nothing is more important at the moment then achieving that goal. Everything I do is focused around one day playing in college and I'm working very hard both in the gym and the classroom to make my dreams a reality.
So, what will a college coach get should he consider me for his program? First and foremost is a person with great integrity and character. Second, a great student athlete that values education and has plans of earning a college degree. Third, a player with a high basketball IQ, great individual skills and good athleticism who has a history of winning, both at the travel ball level and high school.
