Tyler whitson '16 Recruiting Profile

My goals is to graduate Highshool with a 3.8 or higher and to play college ball at a 4 year college. Basketball is a passion of mines, It's also a dream to make it pro into the NBA or playing Overseas. I really love this sport I honestly could say I eat, dream, grind basketball. I also want to be able to get into a college not only just for basketball reasons, but for my academics and  career.

Well as a player I'm willing to do anything for my team. When on & off the court I take a big leadership role. On the offensive end, I am a explosive & crafty guard, with quick handles, have great pull up jumpers, pretty good range, & able to get any where I want to get on the court. I have great court vision and able to find my teammates in the right position to score.On the Defensive end, I'm considered a lockdown defender, and have the ability to pick pocket.

Me as a person I am very humbled, I am always eager to learn about the game,I'm a very coachable player. I'm very dedicated, I work hard and I consider myself a student of the game. My hard work also carries into my school academics.Being a student athlete I have to keep up my grades in order to achieve my dream. As a student athlete I have to have good time management skills to keep up with my grades.

I look forward to taking my skills to the next level and I am very confident that I will bring value to a college team.
