Personal Statement
Basketball has taught me many lessons, NEVER GIVE UP... Nothing is impossible if you set your mind to achieve your goal on and off the court. My goal is to play basketball at a college level while obtaining my bachelor’s degree, eventually my masters. Beyond college, my aspiration is to continue my basketball playing career in the professional world while continuing my education pursuing my masters. Eventually use my education in a career in sports medicine and/or mathmatics and to teach/coach the game of basketball.
Why would you want me on your team; when I play, I give you my all, I lay it all on the court, I have loyalty to my basketball family and I am a good student of the game. I want to continue to learn and advance my game. I am committed and display honesty, integrity and fight – I am real. What others may see as challenges, I see as opportunities to demonstrate that I am stronger; I can overpower my opponent, demonstrate skill versatility inside out with knowledge of the game and never give up!
Academically, I am in honors and AP classes. Recently, Rocklin High School selected me as a representative for the 2013-2014 Honor Guards. I enjoy school and I love playing the game of basketball.
