Personal Statement
I am a 5'9" senior TRUE point guard from Calvary Chapel High School in Costa Mesa, California. I have played basketball for 13 years and have started Varsity for all four of my high school years . I have earned all League four consecutive years and have made the All CIF my junior year. I was the #1 assist leader in California my sophomore year. Also, I earned All-League honors in football as a defensive back in California. I currently hold a 3.3 GPA. I also played travel basketball with So Cal Soldiers this past summer.
I am looking for a college that offers great sports as well as excellent academics. I have not decided if I am looking for a large school or a small school. I have begun this recruiting process late but feel strongly that I want to play basketball in college. I have a lot to offer a college and a team. I am a leader on and off the court and I bring everything I have to everything I do. I hope I will get the opportunity to play as a freshmen.
In my spare time I like to workout and play video games. I also volunteer at the Miracle Baseball League for children with disabilities. Last year I coached our Girls Powder Puff Football Team to victory.

"Brandon is the hardest working player that I have ever been associated with. His work ethic is amazing...which has resulted in his becoming one of the most accomplished point guards in Orange County. He is a great leader...and would be a credit to any College program that he joins."

"Brandon Bryson is a very talented player. He is very skilled in basketball but I want to talk about his heart. His junior year in football, we were on the goal line and I threw and interception. Brandon came from the other side of the field, chased him down, and tackled him on the one yard line. Brandon's leadership qualities on the basketball court are stellar. He makes sure everyone is prepared pregame and will do whatever it takes to win. Any team would be lucky to have Brandon Bryson."
