Personal Statement
My name is Chase Orlich and I am a Senior at San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara, California. I stand 6'5" tall with a 6'9" wingspan and weigh 195 pounds. This past 2013/2014 season I led my team in both REBOUNDS (10.75/game) and BLOCKS (3.63/game). I'm passionate about the game of basketball and extremely motivated to reach my full potential as a player. I am coachable and appreciate feedback because it's the little things that help me become a more effective player on the court. I'm willing to put in the hard work required to be the best, knowing that means hours of extra work outside of practice. I have a positive attitude, I am a team player and I lead by example. I'm looking for a college coach who will help me grow as a person and as a player, whose positive approach will challenge me and one who will be my mentor. I aspire to play for a high level collegiate basketball program, to help take that team as far as we can possibly go, and I am willing to give what it takes, on and off the court, to achieve this goal. I am willing to play anywhere in the country.
