Personal Statement
My name is Brandon Tillis. I play for Crossroads High School and Earl Watson Elite Gold. My strengths are my speed with the ball, my change of speed, my passing ability, my defense, my ability to make big shots when it counts, and my clutch free throws. I'm known as the "wow that guy is fast" player. My current goal is to earn a scholarship to a college or university, where I can play competitive basketball and thrive in the classroom. I take pride of being a student-athlete and work very hard on and off the court. In doing so, I strive to maintain a high GPA. When I’m not studying, I’m in the gym…all day, every day. During college, I will use my time wisely to help with my future. I want to maximize my efforts to make sure my life after basketball is a good one. From there, I aspire to continue to play basketball beyond college. Then beyond playing basketball, I dream to have a job that I truly love. This dream will be to continue to work in basketball, but not as a player. Whether my career is based in coaching, basketball administration, basketball analytics, basketball communications, basketball operations or sports psychology, it will be rooted in basketball. My passion, for as long as I can remember, has always been basketball.
