Personal Statement
I was first interested in basketball when I started at the YMCA when I was around 4 years old. Ever since then, I fell in love with basketball and I am super passionate about it. Over the years my twin brother, Josh, and I have improved greatly learning new skills and developing better court awareness. I learned that you have to be very dedicated and hard working if you want to achieve your goals as a basketball player. This means that you always have to finish what you start whether its on or off the court. My parents influenced and taught me how to become a responsible and unselfish person. They have taught me many important life skills and I look up to them. On a regular basis, my family and I go to the local food bank and help serve food to those in need. After my career as a professional basketball player, I plan on being an orthodontist and get into the dental industry. I will contribute a great work ethic on and off the court and I will help others around me reach their goals at the university that I attend. Jaden, 8th grade
