Personal Statement

I believe as an overall student-athlete, I stand above the rest. I have always been a good student. This past year, my sophomore year, my gpa dropped because I was overwhelmed with harder classes than usually. I managed to raise them as high as I could. I have never failed a classroom received a D, ever. As an athlete I made dramatic improvements to my game the past year. I worked very hard over the offseason to get better. I will always be willing to work hard, and I'm very coachable. I am not stubborn, and I will follow what my coach tells me. I try to lead my teammates even if I'm not the single best player on the team. I want to play NCAA basketball one day, hopefully Division 1. I am working very hard, so I do not have to pay for my education. I am using basketball as a tool for my education. If I have the chance to go professional, I would; however, I would first like to receive an education. I believe I could be valuable to any program, as I have a high ceiling of potential. I would continue to strive to be a better player and student.
