As of march 2020, I have been playing for pacific university. I was put on the JV team my freshman and sophomore years playing against other D3 JV teams and JC teams in the NWAC conference. I used these two years or seasons as a learning experience and to grow physically and mentally on the court. I have grown more mature as an athlete. I am stronger, faster, quicker, more athletic and more skilled than when I first came in. My knowledge of collegiate level basketball has grown more than I have expected having these two years under me. I was the captain of my team playing the shooting guard position. I averaged about 11.5 points per game with about 4 assists, and 2.5 steals per game.

Basketball is not just a hobby, it is a life style. Basketball has had a huge impact in my life not just on the court but off the court as well. I have played basketball since the 2nd grade and loved it ever since. During the beginning of my career, I wasn't known as the best player or the star of the team, I was only a role player. My love for the game helped me work harder than anyone I played with or against. Elementary school through middle school, I was a role player not really knowing the game or scoring a lot. As I worked harder than anyone else, I ended my senior year averaging over 20 points per game , the star of the team, MVP of our BACAL league, and still growing.
I'm growing on the court and off the court through basketball. As the point guard on my High School team, on the court, it teaches me how to be a better leader, make better connections with people, and better decisions while being a good example to others. These qualities as a point guard help me personally as I get through everyday life. It has helped as Student Body President by being able to make the right decisions under pressure, knowing how to deal with many different people, and being a good example to others. Point guards also have to be able to assist people on the court. I'm able and willing to assist people on the court just as much off the court and I do it well. I have always been willing to serve or help others who may need it no matter what the task, this has been a part of my upbringing and faith. This is who I am. With the many things I do such as student body president, play in the orchestra, a 3.7 GPA student athlete, and many more, I am able to manage all these things while under pressure. I'm just as good as a point guard on the court as I am off the court.
The time demanding grind of being a student athlete will be nothing new to me. I will continue the grind and put in any amount of work to be the best player I can be. I am coachable, humble, open to learning and have been called " The Handy Man" on the court.
Time's not waiting for me, so I'm not going to waste it and would appreciate the opportunity to prove that I will be a valued player on your team!!!
