Torian Parmalee '17 Recruiting Profile

I am Torian Parmalee.

I am a Junior College student. I started playing Basketball out of high school at Merritt Junior college in Oakland, CA under coach Derrick Jones.  I took time off for personal reasons.  During that time my family relocated to Atlanta,GA due to my fathers Job. I relocated there as well.  We are currently in Jacksonville, FL due to my Fathers job and we reside there. I am going to FSCJ taking classes.  I am looking to complete my AA degree and resume my basketball playing career.  I have continued to train with a basketball trainer and personal trainer.  My skills are sharp and I am ready to be a part of your team.  

  I know I would be a good candidate to be on your basketball team because, I am a leader. I am passionate about the game of basketball and team is always first. 

In High school,  I was a leading scorer and rebounder on our team my final season. I was named offensive player of the year and All League Honorable Mention for the 2016/2017 Season. 

I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership throughout my years of playing basketball. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. I know I have what it takes to be a leader on your team and to be a positive asset on and off the court!
